BRTP Welcomes our New Officers in these Board Positions:     President: Jeff Welch Vice President:  Emilie Hadi Secretary:  Ladonna Ward Treasurer:  Mark Holmes These Officers will serve in these Board positions until the regularly scheduled Elections in May.   In conjunction with the May Elections, nominations will taken for these positions:   Events Director Legislative Action Committee Director Media/Marketing Director   Requirements for all  positions include: a Biography (a form will be provided) a Position Statement a Resume of Employment History Officers are required to participate in a Q&A Session at the May Members Meeting. Members can make nominations for directors. Directors will then be appointed by the Board.   Elections will be held at the end of the May Members Meeting.

DHS SET UP ARMED CKPT AT FL SS OFFICE

It's not just your grandfather's airport anymore.    This week, DHS (federal officers) set up a random, armed checkpoint at a FLORIDA SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE.  Article has pix.   Officers armed with auto weapons and dogs.  No warning to Soc Sec employees at that office. No comments, no explanation when questioned.
