With things changing from day to day, it is hard to keep up. When we have one defeat in the political war to bring our country back to the Constitution and force the politicians to be responsible, it can be depressing, but one battle does not mean defeat, it is simply a setback

Anyone with an ounce of intelligence realizes Obama’s reaction to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has been to make speeches, do photo-ops and press his destructive agenda of “Cap and Trade”.

 With the Federal Government, under Obama’s Presidency and the overwhelming Democratically controlled Congress, basically taking over the American automobile companies, banking industry, student loan industry, and now health care it seems that he has forced Americans to give up many basic freedoms and free enterprise. Add to that, his intention to force carbon taxes and revenue redistribution, conservatives and libertarians are in shock. Many who voted for Obama believing he would end partisanship, secrecy in government, and race based politics are very disappointed to say the least. With so many radical changes, many are wondering if the United States can ever get back what has been usurped by the Federal Government. Many wonder that, even if the Republicans take over Congress, will they have the courage to throw out these radical changes which most Americans oppose.

The passage of the Obamacare Bill is certainly a defeat to our cause and is depressing, but that battle is not over. It will go to the United States Supreme Court who may well declare it unconstitutional. Even if this does not happen remember the following:
 
·        From the Battle of Concord and Lexington in April, 1775 until the Battle of Trenton in December of 1776 George Washington lost EVERY battle. But he persevered and finally won the war.
